Eh, us Americans (referring to the entire two continents here) have been without Nintendo Zones for years now and the 3DS is still doing fine in retail stores.

Can't believe they already announced as big a title as Mario and Luigi for 2019, they really intend to drain every bit of life from the 3DS as possible before people lose interest. Not gonna lie though,I really do think its unique glasses-free 3D is a big enough of an interesting selling point to continue to keep it alive for the casual gamer. However, their continued move toward new games no longer even offering 3D gameplay is hurting this prospect at the same time.

also, here in America the Nintendo Zone app was discontinued in 2015 lol

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
