"After I left" - an apology of sorts

So after I lost my "contributor" status last year, I kinda vanished from this community. I wasn't actually too active to begin with anymore, and honestly, the "contributor" thing was the only thing that really kept me here. In my honest opinion, things have just gone downhill when the whole 3DS flashcart things were happening, despite them opening the floodgates to what we have now.

That being said, while I never completely left, I do feel like leaving was probably for the best. There are a few things on here that I never really did resolve, but I feel like they are best left unresolved. To those who were involved with me, and you know who you are, I do apologize for my behaviour in the past. I've said and done some things that were obviously uncalled for, but I didn't know better at the time.

When I first started writing the reviews, I legitimately approached them as writing practice as I never really write letters, e-mails, whatever you can call this or reviews, but I had exams coming up and really needed the practice. When T-hug offered me the Contributor thing, I was psyched as I truly felt people were enjoying these reviews. When I look back at them now, all I see is a child being excited about games and writing very unprofessionally. Now in any other situation, I would wipe them all and rewrite, but considering they're marked as "official" here, that sadly isn't an option.

But then, that's exactly what I did a year ago. Wiped the part of my life I didn't like and basically started anew from what I had left. I was young enough and had no real ties that bound me to the parts of my life I didn't like after the contributor tag vanished from my name, and while I do believe that my life taking a turn for the better recently has been a result of "restarting", I still make a lot of stupid mistakes, and recently one that directly involved someone else, and then I realised: I can't restart this time.

So I started thinking about it a lot, and I won't try to do that anymore. Instead, I'll just have to learn from this. Ultimately, that's what I have been doing in the past as well, as I generally avoided getting into the situations that put me up to "restarting" in the first place, but this time, I'll actually have to fix what I messed up.

As for why I decided to post this here? It's cause I don't use facebook ;D

Why did you lose you're contributor status?

Cool, glad to have you back !!

So will you be joining us for the pokemon sun/moon tournaments this year ?

@breaktemp honestly depends on the meta for the game, but right now it's not looking too healthy.

@endoverend At the very least I plan to check back every now and then.

Are you near sea/salt water, or in general they just don't last. Sounds like if you driving a mercedes, you need a garage. I get snow n ice here so nothing worse than clearing that shit off at 6am rushing to get to work.
