Hey, I know I'm late but guess what? This lazy gob shite ended up with a job and you know what? It gets knackering so excuse me if I take a week longer to write this shit up, lol.

Lets get started off on what I just eluded that then, the job. So on a random day when the wife is starting to do her serve in a school I decided to shoot a random email to a job listing on Craigslist and as I go to pick up the wife I happen to get a phone call back 20 minutes later offering me a chance to come down to an agency and sign up for a chance at this job, so a day later, a 10 minute meeting later and a phone call away, I find out I am starting work the following Monday. Now despite my worries at this job being a warehouse one and thinking I am quite ready to step back into that kind of work, I soon found my place there and everyday at the place has been getting better. I am slowly making my way around there understanding there system, making a decent buck and finding out slowly and surely I have been making my way up the roster they have there, found went within the space of 2 weeks I have gone from packing the 2nd most amount of gear to being numbero uno. All I can say right now is its nice to be working again.

In other life changing news, I was surprised and ever so delighted to find out that my dear Aunty has finally broken it off with her husband and he is now in jail, looking at a prison sentence after pleading guilty to assaulting her. They have been married for just under 20 years now with one daughter (my god daughter) and it has been somewhat heck-tic from the get go. I have memories of when my Aunt used to live in the same town as me and witnessing the aftermath of him going complete ape shit and tearing apart her house, images in my head like part of a plate being implanted in the wall still linger. Now I know you maybe thinking at this point why would anyone put up with that shit for 20 or so years? Safe to say she has dealt with being in the shadow of fear for a long time with him, once before when he got upset that not knowing where she was he threw her father through the backdoor and even ended up kidnapping there daughter, safe to say she was more worried about what he could do to people she cared for than what he would do to her. Anyway, it appears that one night as she said she had intuition that shit was about to go down that night and had her camera on her phone set up, safe to say he slapped her around in a drunken temper which soon lead to the police being involved. He was apparently pretty shocked when he got a look at the video of himself going to town on her and seems to finally come to the acceptance that he has an alcohol problem. At the end of all of it I do feel sorry for the life she has had to lead for the last 20 or so years to ensure that she felt that people she loved were safe but I it is finally nice to see her free from this bullshit and no longer being a victim. I am so very proud of her.

In other sadder related family news, my grandmother in my mothers side passed away last month. She lived in Malaysia and I only ever got to meet her twice, never even spoke the same language as her, but memories from when I was 11, there was a good feeling there you know? I could feel a safe and comfortable aura in her presence. I do find it sad that despite never really having much contact with her that she is gone, rip grandma Kaur.

We got the super serious family stuff out the way, lets focus on some of the cooler, fun stuff then. The wife and I seem to have got through a few games this month at least, the Blackwell series in full being one of them. I have had the series for a while now on GOG but as with anyone with a Steam backlog, you just never find the time it seems to play these things. So with 5 or so games the series, me and the wife powered through and played through them all. Despite the premise coming off as a bit cheesey first, I found them a really enjoyable series in the vein of a old click and point. They are a bit linear and somewhat easy compared to classic point and click games but you could do a lot worse in my opinion. If anyone is interested in the series I think it is one of those that is almost on any OS and even on the phones, I think the first ones go for a couple of bucks but they come highly recommended from me, a good series.

Delving more into the back catalog we also decided to have a look at Tell Tales Jurassic Park game and my god, it is fucking shite. I have read the reviews saying it was bad but my god, this is beyond what I thought could count as being bad. Not only is the game boring, characters who are horrible and not in any way engaging or interesting and gameplay mechanics and feel so arse backwards, all I will say is avoid this turd at all costs, I paid a buck for it and I feel like I got put over a barrel for that. One other small thing that pisses me off about it, why the fuck would you have controller support in the game, yet you cannot navigate the menus with the controller? The whole game is a experience in how the fuck up a interesting idea completely.

The last game me and her have been playing this month together, Never Alone. It was part of a Humble Bundle and something she has been pretty interested in trying for a while it seems. We was delighted to find out it has co-op so we have busted out the pads and been giving it a go to find it somewhat delightful, we haven't finished it yet but the game has a charm to it, I look forward to hopefully seeing it through to the end.

Anywho, to change the program a bit, let's talk about music. This month, I have been listening to The Life of Pablo, by Kayne West. Despite him showcasing several of the songs that feature on this album weeks before its official release I avoided all of them in hopes of going into the album somewhat blind. With a ton of this going on with this album ranging from name changes to missed release dates to being Tidal exclusive, giving the album a listen when it finally was released in some form I was initially disappointed, usually Kanye is at the top of his game when it comes to producing his music and the sound on his albums is top notch and well textured, here songs either are too minimal or have far too much going on with them. I gave it several more listens and slowly it has grown on me and I am able to appreciate it for what it is, although the flow on this album is somewhat horrid, but then I saw a theory online that the playlist is fucked and someone found one that they think was the originally intended one and after giving it a listen to the album in that order, it flows so much better. So Life of Pablo, more like an explosion than a bang, has good stuff but just not focused.

And how could I end one of these without the usual Amiibo nonsense. This month I picked up a Golden Megaman, Wolf Link, Hammer Slammer Bowser and Super Charged Donkey Kong, the last 2 being the amiibo/skylanders figures. I wouldn't mind getting the dark Skylanders figures for both of the characters but it seems like you need to buy the Skylanders game in a special pack to get which I'm thinking fuck that to right now.

Anywho, I probably bored you lot already, I'm off to work work work, laters.

You cant navigate the menus with a controller? Wow i had no idea about that lol i remember you telling me about the game being bad but thats just so ridiculous that im glad iv never played it

aye, you have to use a mouse to navigate it, seems arse backwards to me

Yep, that is backwards as hell.
By the way, how good does the Golden Mega Man looks IRL? I still think that it's a kinda stupid idea and that doesn't look that good in pictures IMO, so I'm wondering :P

in all honesty, it is just the Megaman Amiibo painted gold, lol. If you want i could take some pics so you get a better idea what it looks like?

Well, you don't really need to :P But in the pictures, it looks like they painted the Amiibo itself to give some white reflective effect :P And it looks bad for me

It's looking better there than in the pictures that I saw. I guess it just reflects a lot on the pictures like you said then.
