the memchunkhax2 hype post with .3dsx

there is more going on in the comments that this post is somewhat outdated now.
read this. it's important.
  • you cannot use this for downgrading, installing .CIAs, etc. yet. it is purely for testing.
  • when you post results, include your model, entry point, and full firmware version (e.g. 10.3.0-28E).
  • this has pretty much no risk of bricking as it doesn't write to the NAND or anything. with that in mind I am not responsible if anything weird happens so run this at your own risk.
  • if you get a test value of DEADCAFE then it has worked.
  • this might help with getting "DEADCAFE":
    99% Deadcafe on N3DS 10.3
    • Use menuhax
    • Open FTP-3DS
    • Close it with L+R+Down+B
    • Open memchunkhax
    • It should display deadcafe

@Hagslayer5 google for "[MEGA] [CIA/BIN] MSET 4.X & 6.X backups, Browser backups, Update packs (All Regions)" It should be the result on the website related to "3DS" and "ISO" files. You'll need to register an account first, though, but it's a great place to get game "backups."

Do any homebrew exploits work on 9.2, and is it semi-safe to use TexSH's downgrader on o3DS? I have all the needed files, I'm just hesitant about trying as I won't be getting an upgrade to my 3ds for 2 months...

@Minnow Oh yeah, forgot to mention that, oops.

It's fine though. I think 9.0/9.1/9.2 essentially do the same thing. If you want to be really safe, though, update back to 10.3 and downgrade with the 9.0 pack instead (You still need to delete the .cia, though)

@Minnow - Someone else reported same thing earlier I believe, that's weird.

I have successfully gone from 10.3U to 9.2U, installed EmuNAND, installed RxTools, unlinked SysNAND and EmuNAND using TinyFormat, and I'm now updating EmuNAND. Thanks everyone for your hard work <3333
