The PSP's Crush, released in 2007, was heralded as amid the system's most specific titles because of its key gameplay mechanic. The puzzle gaming forced players to collect marbles by changing in between 2D and 3D perspectives, enabling new paths through every level. Sega recently announced that Crush is back, but for the 3DS using the type of Crush3D.
It's a name you can both interpret as Crush 3D, or "crushed" in l33t-speak. Sega obtained quite lucky there.
Players will go back again to the views of Danny as he tries to cure himself of psychological ailments (he's collecting his marbles, get it?). Sega says that Crush3D is based on Crush, but attributes the inclusion of new locations, new characters, together with a hint system. There's also StreetPass functionality, for anybody that will actually use it outside of Japan, that'll leave presents for near friends to collect.
It's an ideal gaming for a 3D system, and should literally make the world pop appropriate into your face when Danny does his "crush" move. The images are lighter together with just a little a whole lot more cartoony this time, possibly to appeal to some more youthful crowd, however the inclusion of the hint program would make me think it'll nonetheless be considered a challenge.
