You can still connect the monitor, but it does wobble a lot and tends to fall down on it’s own at times. In facts it’s a miracle it withstood dozens of falls until now lol

Problem is now, I don’t know how I’m gonna buy a good gaming monitor with a 200$ budget and not have my mom and brother be mad that I wasn’t responsible enough

Do macs just not support 4K displays? The text on this thing doesn't seem to scale or have a scale setting like windows...

So the way macOS shows resolutions is pretty bad. When you select the option for a lower resolution, you often are not selecting that lower resolution but instead an equivalent scaled resolution.

For example on my Windows machine using this 4K monitor it's set to 4K resolution and 150% scaling, but the equivalent option on macOS is to just set it to 1440p resolution. You can tell if it's secretly scaling by how crisp the text is. It's not *actually* set to 1440p, it just has bad options.
