Update what? You mean nintendos cheap solution to fix the broken game save? It's useless, if you have problems you can use cheats too ;)

Why is it a cheap solution? It is simple and works.
Also why is it useless? It fixes the savefile and you don't have to start all over again.

Well it's cheap because some guys fixed it a while ago, see post above. And it's useless if you don't have this bug and I'm sure the OP don't have it, sure if you really have it and don't wanna softmod then it's fine.

So what should I do, my wii is modded, and i have the actual game. I would like to use the official one, but if there is no safe way to use it, I will just make sure i save more than once on accounts until i get to that thunder dragon part, i got ss first day, but had school and only played for 2 days non-stop lol. Thanks everyone

If you haven't gotten to the thunder dragon yet, you have nothing to worry about, just make sure you see him last (faron and eldin first)

I actually made it to that dragon, did the mission and forgot to save, all before hearing about the glitch - dodged a bullet there
