Hardware Zelda Majoras Mask New 3DS Edition - Started, now reset without game loose?

Hey guys,
i have a quick question. I have an Majoras Mask New 3DS Edition, and wanted to check the firmwareversion. Now i want to reset the 3ds that it looks like completely new out of the box. Can i reset my 3ds witout loosing the preinstalled Majoaras Mask game now? Only turned it on and skipped the installation things, without internet.

have you linked a nnid to it? and yes i think it will uninstall, might even happen without the microsd inserted

If it's pre-installed and you format the system, the pre-installed game is gone, you then have to link a NNID to be able to redownload the wiped pre-installed game fro free (tested this myself)
