Hacking XODE- Team Xecuter's new ODE

It's been a quiet few months regarding development on anything new and we've had this under our hats for a while. We always said we'd never do an ODE product but felt we could make something better than what is currently available.

Presenting XODE: The next generation of ODE design.

Supports Phat and Slim with both 2.5" and 3.5" HDD footprints. We have also added support for an optional wifi dongle so you can navigate and load games from a web interface on your Computer or Smartphone

As you can see we've taken a completely different approach to this by designing a complete replacement for the DVD drive that has everything you need built in. As you can see the 2.5" designs are all hot swappable

We are interested in as much feedback as possible - including any issues you have with other 360 ODE products that you would like to see addressed with the XODE.

I figured some tempers would like to know that Team Xecuter has finally announced their newest mod which completly takes out the DVD drive in exchange for a modded DVD drive that is an ODE instead. It looks amazing aswell, and I can't wait to get one it will probably be better then the xk3y, although completly removing the DVD drive does prevent people from using discs I can see that being a downside, but there are also alot of perks such as internal HD instead of having to use either an external HD or an xbox internal drive. I just wonder how much it cost?

REALLY want this but so much questions to ask before I throw my money at it like, does it need an Xbox with a low firmware?

Edit: Whelp, according to this post, it still needs the DVD keys extracted.

They should made this about 3 years ago...I think it to late..they should be working on the xboxone not the 360

Quite late to bring out an ODDE...

Well, TX does deliver superb hardware.
And quite nice that it's an internal solution (tho I'd rather go for a RGH)

So what happened?

When ODDE first came out, according to Xecuter, they were a horrible solution, would get you banned and xecuter would not be making one. Flashed drives (using Xecuter boards of course), were the better live solution and so on.

Strange that, now they are making one, it's the best thing ever.

They make superb hardware, the best in the scene for sure.
But their PR is rubbish.

Just think of the DGX and the leaked bootloaders that followed.
