Can I install it on top? Should i avoid it or should I maybe cancel the fakesigned 2GB patch first?

My WiiU has problems reading discs and BOTW seems to be one of them so I can't just play my copy from the disc... (no, I don't wanna buy a Zelda game digitally) but i want that patch if it adds anything other than preparing for the future DLC section.

Is it safe to let it install the new 1.1.0 Update from Nintendo (around 150MB) over the game+2gigs update installed via wup Y mod?

Is there anything else it fixes besides adding the DLC option? Wish there was a patch note to find out if anything's changed

Im refreshing this thread couse ya know it's a little bit wierd. I've installed BotW few days ago with v16 update, today i was trying to install v33 update via wupinstaller and i've got same issue as everyone here. Console is not seeing the update folder. I thought that this is SD card problem, but now im not so sure.

A lot of SD cards just can't install games larger than 8GB, and then you get the same error as the OP : Not a game, DLC, or game update
My 64GB card installed successfully 20 games or so but whenever I try to install a game bigger than 8GB (like Xenoblade Chronicles X or Zelda BotW) I'm getting this error too, and I see that a lot of people have the same problem.
I'll try to install it using Wii U USB transfer tool, and if it really doesn't work I'll get a new SD card

EDIT : Wii U USB transfer tool is too slow, I can't upload the entire game + update on it, it'll take days
I tried on another 16GB SD card and I'm having the same problem, "not a game, DLC,..."
I don't know if I should buy a third SD card... Or find a different method
The game just don't want to install. It's the first time I'm having this problem, usually games install themselves without any errors.

I have installed The GAME and v16 update without any problem. Only that I can't install v33 update - it's weird. My SD card is also 64GB.

Wiiu usb helper transfer tool. Try transfer via ftp and without restarting console start install, maybe it will resolve the problem.

I'm getting the same error "not a game title,..." etc.
Since Transfer Tool transfers games from WII U USB Helper to my Wiiu's sd card, how could it helps? Please, explain.

Yes it's safe, as long as your Wii U doesn't install system updates, you can use eShop safely. And since there is no system update above 5.5.1 you should be fine for now.

The only way to install Zelda Botw when you have this error is to buy a new and a better SD card (SanDisk >=16GB)
Using ftp and Wii U USB transfer tool is hard, and transfer takes too long (max 1mb/s or less I think). You can still try if you want, but I couldn't get it to work so I can't help you on this : I was just giving you the best tips I could, maybe someone else knows more about ftp transfer

change ur sd card format to fat 32 using EaseUS Partition Master 11.9 make active then apply i had the same problem is it a sandisk 128gb

Sounds like corrupted downloads. A downloader and installer still under active development is NUSspli (see my signature for a link) and it had a fix* recently cause the public documentation about the TMD file format (which tells the downloader what .app and .h3 files to download) seems wrong, resulting in corrupted downloads... It's downloading pretty slow through.
