hang on there, don't do anything stupid now, you keep messing with stuff when you don't know what you should do.
To be honest, I'm stuck here too...
Try this.
Backup your bootmii folder somewhere save.
Take it off of your SD Card.
Turn Wii on and hold reset, let's see if preloader boots.

ok I will try that for you but can someone tell me how to uninstall preloader?
panzeroceania said:Proader might have an unistall function. Or you could install a new system menu 4.2 wad (MAKE SURE IT'S THE RIGHT ONE FOR YOUR REGION)Amarok said:panzeroceania said:ug, I just went back to switch it to IOS70 again, and now preloader won't even load, my wii won't load anything except for bootmii when I have my SD Card in, please help me GET RID of preloader, I really don't want a bricked Wii.

and I haven't been messing with anything, just following your instructions, the only reason I would switch back to IOS70 (and I never got the chance to) is because the other guy said that is what 4.2 used so I thought i'd be a possible solution
what was it set to by default?

QUOTE(panzeroceania @ Oct 1 2009, 06:11 AM) I removed bootmii from the SD Card for now, still no signal getting to the tv from the wii
it was on IOS70 by default
then you told me to switch it to 60, try, then 61, try, and then back to 60 and try
I did all of that and tried every time, none of them worked but preloader was still loading at that point, then I went to turn it on again and only bootmii would load then
FenrirWolf, where can I get a good NTSC-US system menu 4.2?

4.2 isn't causing me any problems, it's preloader
but there is no reason to update, we are just doing testing here for people who already have 4.2 systems

481 (for USA region)
panzeroceania said:you know what, I can just go to 4.1 USA right? that'd be more for sure, I think I'll just do that unless there is a reason I should not.
