Wii AnyTitle Deleter work with cBoot2?

So that could be used to delete IOS222/223/249/250.

ofcourse! master idea, but risky though.

As for now, stubbed IOS249 can be removed safely.

If any1 wants to try out deleting those, be my guest

It would have to be modded to use cboot2 and all, but that should work. And for the record, there's no risk in deleting the dummy IOS222/223/249/250 since they're just stubs. They only exist to take up space and make it harder to install stuff.

Also, it seems like you could have simply installed the IOS249 wad you had, then rebooted into the normal HBC and launched the cIOS Installer from there.

Remaining on checklist:

-Enable IOS36 trucha bug for preloader to be installed.
-Get these to work:

cIOS 202 [2.0 USB support], 222 [Hermes], 223 [Hermes], 249 [Waninkoko rev14] WORKING

250 is a backup created by the cIOS Installer. It has a maxed out version number so it actually survives the update to 4.2 if you have it installed.

panze leave it for now as I'm not well informed about hermes' cioses and rockband/guitar hero instruments needing specific ioses etc.

But atleast try to boot ATD and delete those IOSes

If any1 can clear that out it would be appreciated as I'm too lazy to search.

I got IOS249 from NUS (165 KB (169,600 bytes)). I don't know if it is the correct size, but anyway. So, I only have to uninstall IOS249 with WAD Manager using this WAD and install IOS38 rev14, right?

yes but you must do it through cBoot2, just opening WAD Manager in the Homebrew Channel at first will not work because it will be blocked.

Yes, but if you wait just a few minutes you'll find out if you can just use Any Title Deleter to delete the IOSes the cIOS installers install.

Read my first post please for instructions.

Haha, I didn't even think about grabbing it from NUS Downloader. I figured people would have to find that old cIOS rev7 wad that's easily encounterable via Google. Because of that it'll be easy to write a legal tutorial for all this.

Either the one from NUS Downloader or the one I talked about will work; all that matters is if the wad is some kind of IOS249.

Found it here under Utilities: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=171901

but imo first try to get preloader working so if things get fcked up you'll be able to boot back into preloader.

Fenrir, is there a risk using DOP-IOS to trucha IOS36 in order for preloader to be installed?

There's no reason he should delete 249. He only needs to nuke 222 and 223

Don't see why it wouldn't be.
