Hacking wireless wii microphone

tl;dr; -> can I use any standard USB microphone for CoD: black ops?


i'm avoiding those headbanger because

1. my home theater has wireless back speakers also on 2.4GHz and it cuts my wifi reception (which you guesses, is also in 2.4GHz) in half.
i actually get easier connections using my phone near the wii with wifi tethering...

2. i don't need some cheap headset covering my ear when i have a nice sound system filling the room.

i have tried the rockband mic and it doesnt work because you need something that converts sound back to your mic and a reg mic can only produce sound when you talk
