ROM Hack will we get better editing tools for x and y and oras

It's still not a good use of time as overworlds and scripts can't be modified with our current knowledge of how they work.

Also, you can't even map edit for the NDS pokemon games like Diamond and Pearl, what makes you think it'll be possible on the 3DS when hacking is even more difficult and rigorous as NDS hacking?

Do some research before making threads like this, you can easily see with a glance of the first few pages of the ROM HACKS section that 3DS hacking isn't as advanced as you'd hoped it'd be.

Well, there is map editing in the DS Pokemon games but I don't think it's being updated anymore also I did see someone have a custom map in X/Y but it was like a very slight edit to one of the route models.

The trees look so strange lol.. Cool though. It's a shame nobody's really looked too far into overworld hacking for the BW engine.

I did find a hack claiming to be a remake of R/B/G/S But there is no screenshots or video because the creator closed his YT and left the project

I remember that. It had no map edits though.

I know what rom hack @hacksn5s4 was referring to, though it's not actually a BW hack. It's just a HG/SS hack that uses the same overworld sprite/map styles as BW/BW2. I think it's called Blaze red.

Yep I totally agree with you but one thing... It's not even a hack it runs on a RPG Maker pokemon engine
