Hey, guys,

they are currently reading everywhere that SX OS should be released on June 15th - since today is the 15th and soon the day is over, I wanted to know if the CFW is still coming out today. Is there an official releasedate for the CFW from TX?

How can they know when the first customers will receive their product? What about those who didn't buy the pro, but just bought the license for the SX OS?

It really is lame that they are waiting since its going to take for ever emailing everybody
A license code. I also think the registration of code from everyone at same time will kill the server and be down waiting even longer.

I was actually worried a bit about that before today. A lot of people bought licenses. Imagine all of these all at once trying to get into the website. It will be down really quickly unless they have a way to mitigate that.

I don't mean right now, but after two or three weeks. Certain capable developers will use the OS with licensing system reversed engineering

And why not?
Cracking a simple license check can be done in literally a single jmp.
Even if they have multiple license checks, traps, flags, and etc, it can all be cracked.
Breakpoint, flag, jmp out, breakpoint, and repeat.

Hell, once I get a copy of the OS, IllI reverse it myself.

I reckon, they put the OS on hold because they'd secure their income and profit / to avoid mass-refund due to atmosphere "release date".

They won’t worry about this
Just after I get my license I’ll chargeback because they have delayed it

Because you know so well about what I do on a daily basis, and have been doing for nearly 15 years now right?

Maybe instead of trying to deter people from doing things, you actually learn how to do it yourself and apply it instead of waiting for others to do it for you.

Looks like they are going for license files...

https://sx.xecuter.com/license.html

Just looked at the source code. They're calling the SX OS sx-lite. Also, when you upload your "license-request.dat" file, you have to then enter your license code.

Also this is being said after you enter your code

"Copy the license.dat to your MicroSD card and enjoy! ;-)"

Don't quote me on this but it seems like its gonna be a bit hard to crack their os.....

Also, the license code is going to be 8 characters long.

You got farther than I did, I couldn't get it to prompt me to enter the code.

If you crack Windows, you can bypass its system. It's more a matter of motivation. And I think it's very big on some developers, so expect their OS to crack quickly.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
