Can Someone make for me a WiiXplorer forwarder, please - I'm not too sure how to do it..
Or maybe just explain it and I'll try it myself.

Where is the main.cpp file. I looked and only the main.c file was there. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you referring to the 1st page Tutorial and downloads?
Because if so - look in the forwarder .rar for Forwarder.pnproj and load that in Programmers notepad and the look in the left pane - you'll see main.cpp
Also the actual file is in /forwarder/source/

Are you thinking of making a WiiXplorer ISO

That's exactly what I was going to do. I hope I can do it as well. Have you gotten any other forwarder to compile and work? Is it just this one that is a problem?

Well 1st I just hex edited an FTPii Iso to boot from a different directory - that loaded the FTPii screen and just hung.
Then I downloaded devkitpro and had a look at main.cpp file and changed the relevant paths and also added some music and a splash(load) screen.
I then compiled the main.dol without any errors.
When I selected the ISO in my loader the music played - So I knew that the ISO had been made properly.
Then I ran it - My splash screen came up (so the .dol compiled correctly) and the Wii just hung with my image displayed on the screen until I switched off.

I have made a few WiiWare triforce Iso's that all work fine. This is the 1st .dol that I've compiled and then wrapped as an Iso.
I'm pretty sure I did'nt make any mistakes (but who knows).
So please have a crack at it and let us know how you get on (hopefully with an ISO

WiiXplorer is the only app that I use that requires me to go to the Wii menu - So I'd Love an Iso.

I compiled but was getting errors. One was for Vector not being defined the other was with _wgPipe not defined. I'm not sure if my libogc stuff is good. I renamed _wgpipe to _wgPipe so there were case matching and commented out the two lines for the Vector stuff which I'm not sure is being used. Build was ok. Once I ran the file it just reboots back to the loader. Not sure what is wrong. Here is the image I was going to use for the splash. In case you want it. I never even got to the splash screen and did not put any sound in it. Like I said I don't think my files were good since I could not even compile the default project without errors.

Ok, so I re-dl all code files and devkitpro. I now have a good copy of code. I compiled and now see splash screen I added. I used a copy of mplayer ce iso as my template. It does load. It displays the splash screen but goes away after approx 2sec. Seems pretty fast and I think there is an error occurring that make it reboot back to the loader. Need some debugging or something.

Is there anyone who has been successful at compiling homebrew iso forwarder that can maybe help?

Recompiled again and now I get the splash screen correctly. But does like TinyBilbo says just hangs.

Ok, after old school debugging with printf it appears to hang at exeEntryPointAddress = load_dol_image(exeBuffer, &args);

I'm sure the function is probably fine since it is part of the core dol loader files. I did not debug any further. The load function is fairly simple so the only thing that could cause the problem is either something wrong with args structure or the memory pointer to the file (exeBuffer). I am leaning towards the first since the fread check was good.
