Hacking Wiikey 2 and disc channel won't cooperate

Hello GBAtemp,

I've updated my wii(that has a wiikey 2 in it) to 4.2e. The point is, the disc channel won't read my backups anymore. I can boot the game, however, with Gecko OS. Can this be fixed? And why doesn't read my disc channel my backups!?

THe backup is probably out-of-region (i.e.- NTSC game on a PAL Wii). There is a Preloader/Priiloader hack to circumvent 4.2's region check.

Yup. Unfortunately by the time they released a firmware update for the NSMB protection, the 4.2 region free stuff wasn't available yet.
