Homebrew Wii downgrade inpossible?

Hi i have been trying to downgrade my wii with more than one system, and it seems like everything works fine till i get to the iso downgrade where everything goes to shit. This will not work no matter what, so im stuck with a messed up wii. I heard it wont work anymore because of some new hardware, and supposedly if you wii serial code starts with lul64 your screwed... is this true? thanx

Yes, by what I hear, if it begins with the L code, then it's impossible. However, what version of the Wii you got and do you have cIOS? If it's 4.0, have HBC, but no cIOS, there might be a solution.
