I bought a RCM jig from multiple sellers and it still has not worked! I bought my switch in May of last year! Why is my RCM jig not working?! Yes, I've cleaned out the pins and am putting it in the right joycon rail, but it will not boot into RCM mode! Someone help please.

You're making sure the switch is powered completely off, and you're holding the Vol Up button when you power on? If it works correctly, the screen will be completely black.

To be clear, when you're trying to enter RCM, it's booting into the Nintendo Switch logo and loading normally instead, yes?
ye it says nintendo then nintendo switch and boots normaly

A bad cable wouldn't prevent the Switch from booting into RCM. All that matters are the buttons and the jig. You can boot into RCM without a cable.

The cable is only needed to load payloads.

I bought a 2nd switch recently and had the same issue. I found that if I didn't insert the jig completely, it would work. I'm wondering if there was a tolerance change in the joycon slot.

Ugh. Maybe try reading the OP before posting.

Charge your phone and take a photo of the jig. Probably the wire that the jig uses needs adjusting.

instead of working with the power button you also could just connect a usb cable with makes the testing easier.
