You know, everyone, instead of chastising the man(child), we could perhaps disregard his vitriolic blanket-assessment of a @#$post and actually answer his question.

To understand why everyone on the 'temp is rude, we must first define what rude means. The Oxford language dictionary states that to be rude is to be "offensively impolite or ill-mannered." Now that we understand what rude means, we must understand what the 'temp is. To directly quote from "WikiTemp":

The name GBAtemp has stuck with the site since it's beginnings in 2002. It is composed of two parts; GBA of course stands for Game Boy Advance. The temp is short for temporary. At the time of the website opening it was a ROM site and provided downloads to the latest 10 GBA releases. As ROM sites usually had a very small life expectancy before they ran into legal trouble and were shut down the website was therefore designed as a 'temporary' ROM site. Hence "GBAtemp".

Although the focus of the website is no longer primarily on GBA, site staff have remained adamant about changing the name of the website. The name GBAtemp reflects the website's identity and humble beginnings. There will never be a name change.

So, understanding that GBAtemp was originally a ROM site and that ROM sharing is illegal, it would thus stand to reason that GBAtemp users are indeed rude for being disrespectful to Nintendo.

I tend to avoid piracy these days. That being said, Nintendo is disrespectful to their playerbase. So we don't care that we're rude.

Please do not call us 'tempers the Nintendo Gods. The Nintendo Gods work in less mysterious ways, having their disciples strike down anyone who angers them with their unthinkable cease-and-desisting magick. We 'tempers are a separate and legally distinct pantheon of über-powerful deities bent on world domination through memery, console hackery and general camaraderie.

If you really wish to anger the Nintendo Gods, however, I can point you to a few websites where you can begin the "Fan Game Production" side-quest. It's kind of similar to the "Steal-bombs-and-boomerangs" side-quest from Link's Awakening, though, so beware!
