Hacking Which IOS do I need so I can turn on my Wii with the headest?

Ok and what do I do/how do I modify it so that I can turn it on with my headset plugged in so I won't have to take it out everytime, risking to lose it? This is all I ask.

What makes you think your issue is caused by a problem with your IOS in the first place???

If you are sure that this is an issue with an IOS do what mauifrog and BBking83 have already tried to tell you to do. The Wii's System Menu runs off only one IOS. The number of that IOS depends on what your System Menu Version number is. Go see the IOS History List over at WiiBrew in order to determine what IOS number you need to re-install using Dop-Mii. You can also just update all your IOS to the most recent version, just don't install any stubs which will clearly be marked by Dop-Mii and you won't brick your Wii.

You should know how to do this already smashdude!

I am on system menu 4.3WAN and I do not know the reason why my Wii won't turn on when my headset is plugged in. Have used modmii but I don't know WHAT I need to do in order to get my Wii to turn on with my headset plugged in. You guys would know. I don't know why my Wii won't turn on when my headset is plugged into either one of the USB ports; I have tried both and neither work.

Guys all I am asking is WHAT DO I DO TO GET MY WII TO TURN ON WITH MY HEADSET PLUGGED IN? I have looked on google and asked everyone and I still have not found an adequate answer. All I want is to get this to work then I am done with GBATEMP for awhile.

the forums are NOT a "all knowing" guarantee for EVERY Wii question / problem,
believe me, I've also posted some stumpers with no correct / working answer,
so take it with a grain of salt.

make sure you have the latest HBC(1.0.8) then update with Nintendo´s server and use ModMii to hack your Wii again.

This probably solves your problem.

Use ModMii like your Wii is a virgin.

If this disconnecting/connecting is so annoying for you, just try what I said.

I don't think one needs to know what the partner is doing on the Internet as long as it's legal. Well, my partner knows about software I made and published but then again it's published under my real name. Not like ModMii and XFlak

You think I could keep gbatemp a secret from my fiancee'? I couldn't even if I wanted to! Granted that the scene is slowing down (almost to a screeching halt) but ModMii has taken up soooooo much of my free time over the last year (>1000 hrs) that it would be impossible for anyone I am close to to not have heard about it! Hell, when I first started flirting with you (xander) I mentioned it to my other half cuz I thought it was hilarious! I mean common, my reaction was like... "wow... a female Wii expert on gbatemp... I had no idea you existed!". 1. I can't perform a system update and I don't know why (again) and my router works fine on my Wii.

2. This syscheck 162 is taking FOREVER but SO FAR it reads found IOS 15 and 31 are stubs on this console. I will report the full detail of the list when it finishes but the earlier syscheck processed the info much faster than this one.
