@CapulloLoco, if you want to sell the console a used old 3ds probably goes for about $100 US.
Since yours has a missing joystick you'll probably need to sell for parts, which probably is only worth $50.
If your going to sell it online make sure to take lots of great photos of the device your selling, or it may get mistaken as a scam.

It runs pre-release development firmware :V
Display units used by Nintendo in game events are devkits with retail casing.
So it's basically useless then.
Devkits aren't useful without a valid SDK license, unless you have a cart with a dev demo on it.
They are pretty expensive on eBay though :P

If you can prove what you have is real, you could probably just sell it to someone on here. Just create a well detailed WTS thread with pictures and everything.

If you have DevMenu in the Devkit (you should have), you can install dev CIAs.
The 3dsguy makerom that everybody uses can create dev CIAs.
The SDK license is for the ARM Compiler that Nintendo uses, however to update the devkit to a newer version, you would have to figure out a way to get the Update files, that are hosted on WarioWorld.
Without updating the console, you would have trouble running retail code or running code built with the newer CTR-SDK.
