Not a clue myself. A reseller emailed me pertaining to reviewing it, and I asked them about a shipping date. Their reply was:

no, we are not from sky3ds team, pls hold on, we will tell your the shipping time very soon!!!!

What about the theory that they got the software kernel to produce the card directly from Nintendo itself? Spending 120$ plus the cost of an microSD card to play just 10 games is near to buying the original cartridges after being a while in the market. This will be a superb marketing push to sell more New 3DS next year. All buyers dream that exclusive New 3DS titles will work on the Sky3DS card. At the end Nintendo updates digital signatures on the following game cartridges and closes the illusion.
