I feel like most western PawaPuro fans are unaware of the SinYagu lawsuit.
Sometime in 2004, Neople (The Dungeon Fighter people) along with HanbitSoft developed the first ever online baseball PC game in South Korea, it was called SinYagu (신야구).
In or around 2005, Konami caught wind of this game and how similar it looked to their own popular baseball game, Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu (実況パワフルプロ野球). Konami ordered Neople to change the designs of the characters in SinYagu, as they looked far too similar to that of the ones in PawaPuro. Neople did not respond, which lead to a lawsuit being filed.
Ultimately, Konami would lose the lawsuit against Neople in 2009, but not before SinYagu's severs closed on December 28th, 2007. A new game is unlikely.
I don't know much about the lawsuit itself bc it's all in either Korean or Japanese. There are definitely a lot of details I'm missing but this was all I could gather.
