How can the Auto Anti-Piracy bypass be useless when it means you don't have to constantly update your kernel or search for patched ROMs when new games come out?

Because there are no new games. That's why it's useless now.

Even if y.w.g would die today, you could use the last 4 good ROMs with DS Scene ROM Tool and simply patch them. There is no need for AP bypass systems anymore.

and you cannot modify boot loaders on many cards
and if you can they dont get updated often enough

honestly R4 Original is good for DS phats and Lites because the Bootlaoder will never need updating

but if you have DSi / 3DS get a Acekard 2i or Supercard DSTwo
1 update could make your card utterly useless and a waste of money

I must be using a different DS from you as there seems to still be new games coming out each week for mine and there are still games planned to be released for later this year and next.

R4 Gold Wood works out of the box since 4 Nintendo firmware updates. There's no need to do anything on 3DS and DSi.

If there's a need to flash the R4 Gold / R4iDSN, you can do that. Better read some stuff than to post crap on a internet forum. Srry.

As I said: I have Acekard & DSTwo. I'd use them if I had too. But I don't have to, they are useless for me. I'd trade my Acekard for a R4iDSN anytime.

It's a Permanent Patch - at least for the last 4 Nintendo firmware updates.

If the Patch doesn't work for you, you can download another one from http://www.r4ids.cn and flash the card just as you flash an Acekard or a DSTwo on 3DS.

You should better have a look at the webpage and the reviews instead of spamming here.

Wood cards are the best ones right now. If you just want to play DS ROMs - and that's what 95% of people want - they are the best right now.

Yes, I know what a bootloader is. The R4iDSN / R4 Gold 3D bootlader is larger than that of any other cards. Nintendo can't block it right now.

If they can one day, then you reflash the card just as a DSTwo or an Acekard.

Wood cards are the most popular R4 cards right now. I loled about your "hasnt been popular enough".

Guy, read some reviews, do some research. DSTwo is quite outdated now - if you're not into emulation and stuff like that.

Well, maybe you've been here too long already. Funny that you missed all the postings about Wood R4 and Wood R4iDSN.

Have fun with your DSTwo, I had fun with mine. But if there's something new and better, you should keep an eye on it. It's not expensive, R4iDSN is 7 Euros. Cheaper than the mSD card inside.

So if he want a R4, he has only two options. R4 DSN or R4 Gold.

I have a DSL/DSiXL/3DS and if i don't play emulator, i use AK2i or R4i Gold cos they don't use my battery as much as SCDSTWO does.

For me better cards are:

SCDSTWO
AceKard
EZ-FLASH
R4i Gold

Why ? cos you can update bootloader and all these team have a good support and the best support today is for R4i Gold and SuperCard !
