Hacking what happened?

So today I decided to update my Wii, since it seemed save. Then after I updated my wii and all my channels didn't work for some reason. They just black out after I go into channels (all except settings and stuff), even my Wiimote light turns off, but my Wii is still on. Is like trying to play Hajime no Ippo Revolution on a US Wii. Anyone know what might cause this? and how I can fix this?

I have:
Wiikey installed (not updated)
Wii 3.1U

this happens to me when I don't play with my Wii for a week or so. Just wait for it to process it bull. Think of it like when a comp "hangs" when it's trying to open up a prog.
