Hey guys!
So I bought a second hand o3ds to start messing with it, hack it and play some backups. But I noticed it came with some weird issues.
First of all, sometimes when I turn it on, the volume slider function is inverted - if I slide it up to max volume, it'll do the exact opposite, and viceversa - and with it, comes the issue of the home button not working. In order to make it work as it should, I have to reboot and while is turning on, bend it a bit (pushing on the upper right corner and the lower left corner).
But then another problem comes with that. Even if I have it turned off via the slider, the 3d effect is always on. The volume slider and 3d slider functions gets all mixed up. I'll try to explain: if i
I have the 3d slider all the way down (so it's turned off) but the volume slider is up, no sound will come at all, but 3d effect keeps on. If both are up, sound will come out but then 3d slider will act as the volume slider and this one will do the 3d slider's job (but ultimately with no way to turn 3d effect off). So the only way I've found to make it "work normally" is by bending it the same way I explained early, but it's not a permanent solution cuz once I apply a bit of force, everything goes messy again (3d and volume sliders inverted).
I'm not a tech savvy, but I disassembled it to see if there was a loose cable or something, and to be honest, I cant see anything out of place.
So, any advice?
