Hacking Wanting to re-homebrew my wii

Soo my SDCard in my nintendo wii had died and my wii has homebrew etc but wont work i was thinking if i can go into settings and format and redoing all modding with new sdcard can i do that or no?

dont format it, i did format my softmodded wii and it doesnt delete all of the softmodded stuff

it doesn't remove all of the softmodding, so basically it doesn't give you a fresh start

You don't need to redo everything. Just put the apps you want in your new sd card.

Its okay now as ive formatted it and process of modding it i did need to format because when i put some apps back in it would crash, show a black screen or show errors the apps i that gave me the error now are working with it nearly modified

If you want to make sure that everything is updated and setup correctly, I highly recommend ModMii. I've used it on several occasions with no complaints.
