Hello,

test different SD cards, to see.

avoid SD microphones (some work, others do not).

look at the small "lock" on the side of the SD, if it is not blocked in writing.

I've recently had this same problem occur. 5.5.3 Wii U with Haxi installed in SysNAND (on top of purchased app.)

It's the same SD card I've been using for the last month and now all of a sudden the homebrew launcher doesn't show any apps. I've tried to format (FAT32) and try another card but the problem remains.... Any chance you found a solution?

The only things I can think of that might've caused this are:
a) I formatted an external USD drive to work with the Wii U (unlike to cause this)
b) I ran Mocha CFW from the homebrew channel some last week (but I do recall the HBL working and showing apps after that...)
c) the music on the Wii U main screen music was different on January 1st but has resumed to the old tune today. (Maybe Nintendo had some kind of update or...??? I do have my DNS modified to avoid updates...)

Place your files correctly on your SD (the good files). They are misplaced

You talk about the vWii mode of the Wii U ??

I guess this is off the WIi U menu, not the vWii mode...
I do have a HBL icon on my start screen (I think that's accomplished by Brazilian method/vWii workaround? Though I may be mistaken, I'm still learning how this all plays together...)

Maybe I should I start a new thread? When I hold A on the Haxchi icon to get into HBL, the wii freezes. When I start HBL from the icon on my start screen, I get the HBL with no apps showing.

you want help for vWii homebrew, but you didn't give the path of your vwii homebrew.
I suppose they are like that ?

/apps/<folder name>/boot.dol icon.png and meta.xml ?

Sorry to hijack an old thread, but I seem to have the same type of issue. The HomeBrew Loader in Wii U shows my HomeBrews just fine but nothing shows in the vWii HomeBrew Launcher. I am using a fat32 formatted SD Card, 16gb in size. I am a little confused though; are the vWi apps really supposed to go in the same folder as the Wii U apps?

Here's an image of my setup

SD Card HomeBrew Error - HB doesn't appear in HB Channel.png

The ones in red are vWii apps and are supposed to appear, but they don't.

No, that is your problem. vWii homebrew goes in a folder labeled apps directly in the root of the card, while Wii U homebrew goes in an apps folder inside the WiiU folder

Ahh, thank you. I did think it was strange that the apps seemingly had to be placed in the same folder as the Wii U apps. Guess I must have misread something then. In any case, I moved the apps as per your suggestion, and they appear in the vWII HomeBrew Launcher now:P

    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?

@Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

@Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
