Hi , ive just formated my 320gb HD in FAT32 , created a wbfs folder and converted some iso's into wbfs and put them in the folder. When i open USb loader GX it says 0 games.. Any ideas?

In usbloader GX settings it shows the size of my HD under- settings/ game load /partition FAT1- (298.09gb)

Any help would be great :)

Have you selected the right partition? Did you copy-paste or used a manager? If so, what manager? Have you copied .iso files or .wbfs files (If .iso then there is no way in hell it would work - only .wbfs files should be placed in that folder).

i formated it all to one FAT32 partition / then opened the HD in My Computer and created a folder (WBFS) / i then opened wii backup manager / clicked add file / got an iso / ticked the box / then clicked transfer as wbfs to the WBFS folder on my HD.

It's... bizzare that they're not detected then.

Have you used this drive before for this purpose? Were you successful?

Interesting. Did you try using a different loader, or just GX? Did you try using a different cable? Did you try removing the config file of the loader (so that it may spawn a new one, perhaps this one's corrupt)?

Is the FAT32 partition primary? (Control Panel/Administration Tools/Computer Administration/Disk Management or so, not sure, I've got Polish Windows so the names are different)

If not, delete the volume and create a new, primary one. If that doesn't work, re-format the disk to WBFS format and try that.

Im not going to be using the disk for anything other than wii games so if all else fails i will wbfs format then send it back if it still doesn't work, thanks for the help many thanks.

I had a similar issue with an NTFS drive until I changed the partition to Primary, so it may as well be that. Good luck, and take care.

EDIT: Could also be a faulty cable. I know it sounds ridiculous, but one of my USB cables literally freezes GX and refuses to detect the drive in WiiFlow while working perfectly fine when connected to a PC.

Maybe you used a path structure unsupported by USBloaderGX (inside the /wbfs/ folder)?

When you transfer the games with WiiBackupManager, you can choose the folder's name and file's name.
try another one in the program settings.

You can also try to dump a Wii game disc directly on USBloaderGX and you will see where the game will go on your HDD.

Be sure to enable "Wii games" in the settings if you are using the beta (>v2.3)
