If you enter the hard drive settings page on USB Loadeer GX, you can select which port(s) you want to use.

if you want to enable Port1, you need d2x v10-alt OR an old cIOS v4 or v5.1 from Hermes.
note that if you use 10-alt (the revision 53), EmuNAND will have issues.
Note that if you enable "dual port" you MUST NOT use usb as path for your ressources (covers, music, theme, configs, etc.)
To be safe, ALWAYS use SD card for homebrew and files, only the games on USB.

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.+1
