Hi!

I found a limitation or bug using USB Loader with an USB HDD. When I have the Wii set up with Wired connection (Broadband adapter) the Wii freezes within the first 5 minutes of playtime if you booted the game from a HDD using USB Loader. If I let the broadband adapter still be plugged in the Wii but I change the Wii settings to run on Wireless, it works flawlessly! No game freezes.

Has someone else this problem, or is it even a known bug in the Waninkoko Loader? Too low power output for both devices?
Does someone have an idea of what to do? Or even a fix?

I'm running cIOS36 rev10 and USBLoader 1.5

Don't be too happy. There's no release date for the new CIOS that will support it.

Hi, been searching for someone having the "near kindda same" problem as mine...
Glad i found it ( tho i'd have preferred not having a problem at all :/ )
I just installed usb loader 1.5 and cios rev10.
I installed USB 2.0 cIOS for homebrews too
and reinstalled dvdx on IOS 202 like it's described here in wiibrew.
Usb loader works *only if* i have only the usb hdd connected to the wii.
If i let my ethernet adapter connected, it doesn't see the wbfs partition.
Worst: all my media players *died* in the process : Mplayer CE 0.5 codedumps on startup, and Geexbox's menu's font don't show up.

Does someone have a clue on how to make work the whole thing ( media player homebrews + usb loader ) with everything connected?
Thanks in advance

I solved my MplayerCE + Broadband adapter problem :
I uninstalled DVDx, delete 202 cIOS with anyTitleDeleter, installed cios rev9 over.
Works like a charm now. Sure it must be working using usb 1.1 speeds, but for streaming xvid over network it's enough.
