Hacking Updating Priiloader

I bought my nintendo wii and it was already modded so priiloader was already installed. Unfortunately it's only 0.3 and I was thinking about upgrading to 0.7 but I have no clue about the risks of doing so.

Now I need to know exactly what to do on the priiloader install.. and I need to know that It won't replace any of my modded IOS things will it? And if anything needs to be checked afterwards to make sure it installed correctly.

If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Installing priiloader is one of the few things that could, possibly, if you are very very unlucky, brick your wii.
But wii is cheap nowadays if you will be more at peace then update it...

Well I heard it improves the loading speed of things like usb loader GX. If I don't have to reinstall any ios things after I update priiloader, then I'm fine with updating it. I just don't wanna mess up my current compatibility with games. Cause wiiware, gc, wii, virtual console and emulation works fine for me right now.

Ok then i confirm you won't have to reinstall any ios.

Someone mentioned something about no_ios_reload in the xml file.. is there something I have to do about that?

i can say that i am using the old .4 priiloader that i modified to see the new hbc myself and have no problems with it

Worked fine.. no issues at all. In fact my external drive seems to function better as well.
