that's strange. I'm on the latest firmware (a8lh w/ luma), and I transferred the dq viii cia to my system a few days ago. there was a hiccup at first, but I think that was due to taxing my laptop with too many things. it transferred fine after that. this only started happening after updating? sorry..didn't read the other posts.
try to enable portable hotspot on your phone and connect the 3ds to ur phone hotspot. try that out
