Good day, fans and believers! We hope you are all having a good weekend.

Team-Xecuter has done it again, they have updated their world-famous SX OS to now support the latest v9.0 Switch firmware from Nintendo.
Today, we bring you a much needed update of SX OS. Full compatibility with the latest Switch firmware 9.0! Sorry that we kept you waiting, we wanted to make sure all our unique features still properly work.

Additionally, we also introduced support for the "Horizon split format". This means that people who use FAT32 can have folders named 'game.xci' with split parts contained therein (named 00, 01, 02, etc.). Make sure the folder has the 'archive' bit set.

We know you are waiting for some other big features in SX OS, they are coming.. We wanted to get this compatibility update out first though.

So what are you waiting for? SX OS 2.9 beta is available for download on our website now! (and also through the builtin online updater part of SX OS.)

Anyone having issues installing 9.0.0 via ChoiDujourNX (ver 1.0.2)? For some reason it just hangs on 1/6 "Testing for BIS protection...". I never got this before on all other firmware updates.

I tried redownloading 9.0.0 firmware from another source, also redownloaded ChoiDujourNX as well for good measure.

@SaggyBeans For some reason v1.0.1 works better

Not working with 1.0.2 ChoiDujour for me either.
1.0.1 is not working ?? Garyopa just said it works. Not sure how to update now. Any idea ?

Try the older boot.dat (pre 2.9) release, and v1.0.1, update that way, and then restart with the new boot.dat (2.8)

strange as v1.0.1 worked in our tests. -- At some point tomorrow the new SX Installer will be released which also supports firmware updates.

    @Xdqwerty I like how the game had the middle ages 1000AD, the dark ages 600AD.It was great seeing the post robot apocalypse 2300 like Terminator and enter the matrix. some of mad max and fallout. 2300ad though it could had used more elements instead of just a generic ai uprising. It was a great idea for their judgement day to be 1999 Y2K.
