This has probably been asked a hell amount of times, but has anyone been able to build a fix or repack the game to fix the load times for Twilight Princess HD. Would appreciate any response
I've tried that already and I have 80 mb/s read speed, but it didnt help. When I leave Link's house, it takes 17 seconds to load.Formatting your SD card with 64KB clusters seems to help a little bit.
Ask it here and someone might answer it.Has anyone thought about writing a SD card speed program that runs on the wii u to see what the data transfer speeds are? 8x Blu Ray is about 36 megabytes/sec. Id say the Wii U drive has to be atleast that.
We might be close and these games would just load beautifully.I can't wait for USB support to come. That's horrific of how the load speeds are so slow.
Yeah thats what I have been doing, and it's not that bad. I have a question though. If someone released a fixed version, would my save file still work for it?The game is playable, if you're patient. But then there's always the Gamecube version on vWii via Nintendont. May not be widescreen, but at least it's the same game.
I think I remember seeing a fixed version (AFAIK loading times are big because the content is fragmented into many files which the SD takes time reading, the fix was deleting a few files like foreign languages and stuff) and it should work on your save file unless the fix changes how the gave saves the data (which is extremely unlikely).Yeah thats what I have been doing, and it's not that bad. Thanks dude. Also I'll try that out.I think I remember seeing a fixed version (AFAIK loading times are big because the content is fragmented into many files which the SD takes time reading, the fix was deleting a few files like foreign languages and stuff) and it should work on your save file unless the fix changes how the gave saves the data (which is extremely unlikely).
Try that one "wii u iso" websiteI'm not able to get my game to load period. It has no sound and gets stuck on a black screen after I start a file. I formatted my SD card to 64 clusters and that didn't help.
I did try it. I got two copies of the game so far and none of them work. Thanks dude. Also I'll try that out.

I ate cookies while there were loading times.I gave up playing it.
Pretty much the same for me as well. It does make me laugh though that people are complaining about the load times my first computer was a zx spectrum 45k and each game took about 10 mins to load then you would finish a level in a game then have to wait another 10 mins for the next level to load ect people today are so inpatient complaining you have to wait 10 secs for a game to load lol compared to what I was used to back when I had my zx spectrum.Loading speeds aren't too bad for me on a Samsung Class 10 32GB SD card. Some cutscenes take longer and give me a black/grey screen for 8-10 seconds which can be a bit off-putting, and the frequent zone changes in the water temple get annoying since it takes around 4-6 seconds every time I walk through a door (you can even see it fetching the assets to place into the room as it loads), but it's not too bad. I can only imagine what it must be like on a Class 2 or Class 4 SD card (like my cheap 2GB card I originally got with my Wii many years ago).
For reference, I'm running the nightlies of Loadiine GX, and with the most recent update for Zelda.
Are you playing from Gamepad only? Did you try pressing select (Minus) to switch to Gamepad view? Tried using the latest nightly build of Loadiine? Im pretty sure it isn't a bad download, it'll be Loadiine's fault if it doesn't load up.I'm not able to get my game to load period.
