I'm having a problem with texture mods. I use the NUT editor to open the model.nut located in ganon/model/body/c01. When I export the texture for his cape (not the bump/normal map) the exported dds can be opened in paint.net but not in GIMP with the dds plugin. I am using the most recent versions of both as of this post. The problem with paint.net is that I can only save the texture with 4 mipmaps or none, and the texture I am trying to edit has 11 mipmaps (mipmaps must match or the game will hang when trying to load them). Trying to open the dds in GIMP gives me an error about "Unexpected EOF".
Is there some other program I can use to open the dds while saving it with the same number of mipmaps after editing it? I know Photoshop can do it but I don't have a lot of money to throw around for it. If there's absolutely no other way than Photoshop I'll probably go with that.
EDIT: It seems GIMP cannot open a dds file with more than 9 mipmaps. All of the others open fine. This is probably a problem with the plugin that allows dds files to be opened rather than the dds files themselves.
Hi im trying to load a smash 4 .nud but the textures doesnt load i have all the files of the c01 folder extracted with smash file explorer any idea of why this happen ??
So, would there be any way to export animations to chr0? I have a nice flow for getting animations from Brawl into Blender, but I'm not finding any chr0 export option. Everything else is designed for Max/Maya/whatevermultihundreddollarapp...
Program starts up fine. Whenever I open a file in any way it crashes.
I use Windows 7 on a moderately bad computer.
I've obtained the files I'm using from a dump, consisting of packed files, which are then extracted using sm4shexplorer.
Anything obviously wrong with what I'm doing that can fix this?
