I was thinking of buying a PSP just to emulate old systems, and I was wondering if any of the emulators (mainly GBA and GBC) have a turbo mode where it runs the game at 2x. It makes Pokemon a lot more fun. Thank you.

Depends on the emulators. Emulating at double speed needs double the power, for example, and the PSP was powerful for it's day, but it's no android device. Older systems like the NES and GBC have speedup, newer ones might not.

One of the GBA emulators has fast-forward (it needs to be mapped to a button), forgot which model, and it's like 1-1x-2x depending on the game and scene.
