Hacking Transfering a game from my laptop to my Wii's hard drive?

OK,

I'm looking for Youtube videos that show how it works right now.

Two questions:

1) Do I grab the SD card out of my Wii and run ModMii against that?
2) Do I still have to have one of the specific games to do the mod or do I not need to worry about that since I'm already modded from before?

U need an SD card, u don't need a game. Don't search for YouTube videos, Modmii's guide will include all the steps and videos you need to know

OK, I ran ModMii and it did a bunch of stuff. Tiny font so was hard to read but I didn't see any errors.

Now I have the Guide with a bunch of steps. Do I need to do them all or should I skip anything since my Wii was previously modded? I'm on v4.1 if that matters.

So here's my current status:

Booted up the Wii and went to the HB channel
Prompted for an update from 1.08. to 1.10
Said Yes
Update installed and took me to a "Software must not be sold" screen.
Sat at that screen for over 5 minutes and nothing happened.
Powered off the Wii and went back in. Got the same update prompt so tried again.
Got to the same "Software must not be sold" screen and it froze again.

If I say No to the upgrade, I have MMM 13.4, IOS236 installer, MyMenuifyMod, Priiloader 236, Simple IOS Patcher 1.14, and HackMii_Installer

Not sure where to go from here.

UPDATE:
I ran HackMii from my Wii by hand and everything had no info. I clicked Load and it seemed to run OK. It now says:

HackMii installer v1.2
Test results are in:
Using IOS versions: Installer: 58, HBC: 58
The Homebrew Channel: Can be installed
BootMii: Can only be installed as an IOS
THe installed Boot1 version prevents a boot2 install (-2)

After clicking Continue I get options for:
Install HBC
Uninstall HBC
Bootmii...

Follow your guide, but essentially you want to start by installing the latest version of the HBC and bootmii.

There is no harm in following the guide in its entirety, there might be a redundant step or 2 but no harm in it

OK. I did the Install HBC and Install BootMii as IOS this morning. Then I had to go to work.
More to come tonight and hopefully get this finished up.

Got through the Priiloader but when I chose System Menu Hacks it says "Could find any hacks for system menu version v54449"
I tried the Check For Update option and that said: Error getting versions from server.

I'm skipping that for now so let me know if it's important or not.

Never mind. Noticed another step I need to do...

You have to put the hacks file on SD and it will copy it to NAND when it sees it from what I remember.
