never actually been there before, but it sucks to see all these stores disappear from my town. like so many stores have closed and nothing takes its place and we just have tons of dead, empty plazas

Don't know about over in America but here in Scotland Toys R Us are mega expensive most things are about 10 to twenty pounds dearer than pretty much every other store the only plus being that they always have loads of stock of everything.

Lol, that reminds me of the giraffe on top of the Meijer gas station across from the Lansing mall. Anyways, At least the one in Okemos is still open. I thought for sure that would be the one they'd shut down.

Yeah, the one on Saginaw has a Babies R Us next to it as well, you'd think they'd just close the TRU in Okemos and leave those two open. AFAIK it's not even that popular, vs the one in Lansing. Doesn't matter either way I suppose, didn't really need 2 TRU 25ish minutes from each other

I wonder if that Babies R Us will also close then, too

What lines are those? All the nintendo toy lines I've seen at TRU (Amiibos, World of Nintendo) are also at Target and to a lesser degree Walmart. But that could just be me not knowing what to look for.

The story by me is closing in april. Im going to see what Nintendo store displays i can snag either in the store or in the trash. I might be able to get their Nintendo Switch Kiosk. Im thinking Nintendo will want it back as the switch is new and it is Nintendo's property..... If nintendo does not take in time they might toss it out is what im thinking. Its the version that does not have a demo console. If i can get it, it would make my day. hell, my year...

Also the WII U animal crossing bungle is $6, Runbow wii u and tumble stone game is also $6 New for this collectory out there. Also all the skylanders i saw were 50 Cents lol. even the 3 packs lol. No amiibo sales tho and or switch sales....

Welp, I guess I might as well bump this thread. Toys R Us officially closes today(might wanna rename the title?). Got any good memories of Toys R Us. I personally won't miss them, their prices were shit. Only thing I used them for was buying stuff that sold out fast(Wii, Gamecube controllers, adapter, etc). Most people forget all about Toys R Us, including scalpers.
