It should work fine, though as far as I can tell from a quick google search there aren't any Lightning to Composite cables at all, just Lightning to HDMI.

That said, you might be able to try a 30pin to Composite with a 30pin to lightning adapter. No idea if it would work, but it might be worth a try.

I looked on a few forums and some people said that the lightning to 30 pin adapter + composite cable did not work, it would on play audio
