The show is going amazing so far with how Druckmann focused less on character interactions with the infected and more on the story details, which is an obvious move for it being a series. It maaaaybe could have made it similar to how the john wick movies were made to seem like you were watching gameplay with the fight scenes. Joel killing infected constantly in the show would probably be over done though and that definitely would not work with the limited amount of episodes that they're planning to film (stating the obvious by now). that said, i love the show despite the infected having small screen time.
