It's almost the end of the year, which means it's time for not only the holidays, but also for yet another year of The Game Awards. Just as every event before it, Geoff Keighly will take to the stage in order to host a recap of the biggest and best that gaming had to offer for 2019. In between awarding different genres of games, we'll get to see brand new game reveals throughout the show, to keep viewers interested. We know for certain, after this week's State of Play stream, that Sony's Ghost of Tsushima will be making an appearance, while rampant rumors claim everything from a new Metroid reveal, to a Tony Hawk Pro Skater remaster, or even a new Batman: Arkham game. Regardless, we'll get to see the ten planned reveals when the show kicks off later tonight in less than an hour, at 7:30 CT.

So bravely second was more like "bravely default 1 - part 2", and this is more like "bravely default - the sequel"? Okay. I mean. I guess. Sure.

Also I had only heard of the game of the year once or twice. Didn't actually know people liked the game. Guess I'll have to pick it up once it goes on sale.

Looking forward to quite a few of these games.

The Game Awards? more like...The Game Announcements, amirite?
Game announcements are more fun than game awards in my opinion.

I'm so excited for XBox Se. X!
probably the only reason they chose that name was for the subliminal "sex" in the name as you pointed out.

I watched the show thinking a big Nemesis would come out and shoot a bazooka shot at the crowd but instead got some bad stand up comedy ... missed opportunity, boy these things are awkwardly written .. and no Zelda  Hellblade and Ghost looked sick

i dont think i agreed with any of the awards involving actual games and not e-sports(i dont watch them). Sekiro is an average game at best, the cinematics are nice but its a cut and paste game. Disco Elysium LOL that just shows you how bad a year it was for games outside nintendo. Death Stranding music award... most are from artists and not written for the game... maybe Ive just lost touch on what good games are nowadays.
