There is audio, but it suffers from the same thing that the Music player does. It's very soft.
Ok Thanks (Noticed it after I turned the volume all the way up)

I don't know why Nintendo sets the volume so low for playing back audio from the Music or Camera/Video apps. Even using headphones, the output is still rather soft. When I took the video recording I made to my PC and played it back, the audio (while filled with some static from the mic) was actually of nominal loudness. They really should add an option to those apps to increase audio output.

Have you tried to set your 3DS's sound settings to stereo rather than surround?
