Wait a minute so that I'm in the same boat I have first gen switch I guess that means RCM switch I can do the same steps without ever bricking my switch and downgrade to 11.0.0 and there won't be a problem? Im guessing the daybreak downgrade that you guys mentioned was downgrading the emunand and not the actual nand right or wrong?

I'm in the same boat I am on 11.0.1. I would like to understand something. I have a first gen switch so that is what ur referring to as a RCM switch? So if I followed the same steps no way of bricking my switch right? (I'm paranoid). When I downgrade with daybreak wat exactly am I downgrading emunand or stand? And I can load ofw like normal? I use Sxos as well.

RCM switch can load atmosphere on 11.0.1, daybreak is the only way to upgrade/downgrade on Mariko switches. ChoidujourNX wasn't updated to support the new ones.

Additionally with a RCM switch it's extremely hard to brick. Like only a fried chip can't be fixed with RCM

I had no emunand, this was the actual nand

Daybreak can downgrade (or update) emuMMC or sysMMC. An "RCM switch" is one that is vulnerable to Fusee Gelee which is the exploit that involves the usage of RCM hence the term "RCM switch". As stated above, it is incredibly hard to brick a Fusee Gelee exploitable console and all current bricks can be recovered with a full eMMC backup. Daybreak will downgrade whatever it is ran in.

Sure is... and poor devs get hit with the charge backs

    Exactly.

devs don't get hit with the chargebacks, the keys are free to generate

there's nothing to charge back because the keys don't cost them money to generate in the first place

If the game has a crack sure
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Most these crack sites have dead links anymore or the crack don't even work
  • linuxares @ linuxares:
@The Real Jdbye What don't you get? If someone use a stolen creditcard. Then sell said key on G2A. If I the dev sold the game key, I will get the charge back cost. That's how it works, it doesn't matter if I generate 300 keys if 300 of them are bought with stolen credit cards. I never said it was on Steam, but its the dev that gets hit. There is a ton of stories out there if you google it.
