Apologies to those who downloaded any of these packages from around 1pm 22nd march to midnight 23rd march US time. I had updated the post with a new ds1patch that supposedly fixes Wario DIY also. However, this file broke the pokemon AP fix, meaning that the game would freeze. The old files have been restored.

This package fixes HGSS! HOWEVER THIS IS NOT ALL SP2 BETA IMPROVES! The read speed seems to have improved too, because the castlevania DoS intro, which used to lag on my memory, no longer does so. This problem has been ever since I first got my supercard almost two years ago, and only as of SP2 it seems to be running fluently, so I believe speed has been improved LIKE NEVER BEFORE!

The second link(EOS) is beta, meaning that work on it isn't finished. It is recommended to download only the patch at first to make sure that if problems occur, the beta EOS isn't the actual cause. Once certain that the patch works, you can attempt to upgrade the entire EOS from the second link.

POKEMON HGSS AP PATCH ONLY (copy the files into the "_dsone" folder)

Some of you may not be aware that this patch is for EVOLUTION OS, a new Supercard firmware which came out 1-2 months ago. If you are using the old moonshell-based OS, this patch is not designed for it so do not put it in the "scshell" folder. To find out what OS you have check for a "_dsone" folder on the root of your microSD. If it is absent then upgrade to the new OS before trying this patch!

Note: If you are freezing while walking around, or always freezing at the same place, that is NOT an antipiracy issue. Also white screens on starting the ROM could mean you need to reduce the Speed(3x recommended). Also make sure you are running in PATCH mode and not CLEAN. Clean will not patch the AP!

The patch for Pokemon is ONLY ds1patch.dat however I saw fit to up the whole OS because of the speed improvement. Both SDHC and non-SDHC versions are uploaded.

Your save file might be corrupt, try a new one. Getting multiple reports on the SC forum that it works.

Tested on HeartGold but should work on SS just as well. Walked in and out of buildings for 10 minutes 20 seconds. My past attempts on SCDS-1 froze after around 4 minutes(60 events). A walk in or out takes an avg 4 seconds = ONE EVENT. I walked in and out for a total of (10*60+20)/4=155 times and the game DID NOT FREEZE.

Both links contain the same package. Enjoy!

NOTE: I forgot to remove the stupid useless thumbs.db files from the non-sdhc release only. Delete them yourself. Although keeping them has no negative impact, they take up space for no reason.

BTW, where did you get the rest of the files?? in the supercard forum a user only posted the patch file.. Are the rest of the files from the previous beta ??

I already did, text seems to be running faster, and the music isn't stuttering like the other times..I think this might be it

Edit: Oh btw I checked the supercard forums and there was this: http://forum.supercard.sc/thread-5630-1-1.html it's a patch for the ds1.dat file on the new firmware, seems to be legit since an admin highlighted it, taken frm the chinese forums. Good luck
