which Street Fighter games + their respective emulators are compatible with slot1 devices?

im most interested in street fighter 3, which is an xbox/ps2 game but also an arcade game, so would it be possible to get it on an arcade emulator?

I'm not familiar with the series, but Street Fighter games that have been released on NES and SNES can be emulated on most slot-1 flashcarts.

If you're looking to play Street Fighter games on GBA, that's a no...you'll have to own a Slot-2 GBA Flashcart.

Xbox/PS2 game on DS? Think about it...heck naw!

-Edit-
If you're looking for a fighter, which I guess you are, for the DS that looks decent - a new Mortal Combat is coming out for the DS in a couple of days.

no way in hell will you ever emulate sf3 on a ds. In fact forget about sf2 as well. i dont think the ds is powerful enough for such emulation. SF2 for snes might work. let me know if it works for you.

I think that the DS could handle CPS1 emulation for SF2 games...would just take someone building a CPS1 emulator :-P that would be awesome!

EDIT** CPS1 not CPS2, that would be a big stretch

I'd love to see a CPS1 emulator but SNES version of SSF2T is scaled down quite a bit so I'm not even sure if its possible to do full speed emulation.

I've tried SF2 and SF2 Turbo on SnemulDS and they work ok. That would be your best bet for SF2 on Slot 1.

Yup its the only way to do it.

works of, SF2-Super runs ok.

suprnebtheres a street fighter for gba? lol i never knew that

I own 2 SF2's on GBA, Turbo and SF2 Alpha 3. SF2A3 is fantastic if your a SF fan get it!!!

CPS 1 Emu would be nice but I don't think it'll happen

the DS arcade emu thats a bit like MAME (can't think of its name) doesn't even run very well and any more modern games.

Oh to have a fully running MAME Emu on your DS *drool I'll add that to the pile of things that will never happen. Still think there should be a Amiga emu (surely the DS could handle it)

Yeah, SF2/Turbo/New Challengers works fine on SNEmulDS.

SF3, no way in hell.. It's an awesome part of Street Fighter though.

SFAlpha isn't emulated in SNEmulDS due to a special chip.

A MAME emulator for the DS that plays the modern Arcade games would be impossible.

They really need to make a Street Fighter for the DS that has an online vs

I agree with you 100%

Too bad it's probably not gonna happen.. Capcom is leeching off consoles currently. (HD Remix, SF4)

hard to guess man, Capcom has done some weird things over the past ten years...

Specifically, taking 20 years to count to 4.

Street Fighter
Fighting Street (TurboGraphix 16 remake by NEC)
Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight (This one has like... nothing to do with street fighter but Capcom intended it as a sequel)
Street Fighter: Champion's Edition (Never actually released because Street Fighter II was released afterwards, but it was intended to be an "upgrade")
Street Fighter II (Not released)
Street Fighter II: The World Warrior
Street Fighter II: Champion's Edition (See the original Champion's Edition. This was released on PC)
Street Fighter II' - Special Champion Edition / Street Fighter II' Plus
Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting (Arcade, actually this was the 'real' Turbo, they actually remade the game in three versions 'A, B and C' secretly)
Street Fighter II: Turbo/Hyper Fighting (Two games in the same cart, virtually the same game except characters moved faster in Hyper)
Super Street Fighter II (SNES/MegaDrive had fixes from Hyper Fighting)
Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (SNES, MegaDrive, PS, Saturn, Atari ST, DOS)
Super Street Fighter II: Turbo (New characters and a VRAM upgrade)
Super Street Fighter II Turbo / Super Street Fighter II X - Grand Master Challenge (riiight.)
Super Street Fighter II Turbo: Revival (GBA)
Street Fighter II: Pinball
Street Fighter II: Card Game
Street Fighter II: Cheaply Made LCD Game (Featuring Crap and the Family Stone)
Street Fighter II: The Board Game
Street Fighter II: Spin Fighters (It's Beyblade but Street Fighter!)
Street Fighter II: Slots
Street Fighter Alpha: Warrior's Dreams (Named Zero collectively, but everyone knew that right? Game was remade twice)
Street Fighter Alpha 2
Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold (It's like 'Turbo' for SNES)
Street Fighter Alpha 3

X-Men vs. Street Fighter (These "vs." series I count in the list cause they contain some SF story)
Marvel vs. Capcom
Marvel vs. Capcom 2
SVC Chaos: SNK vs Capcom
Capcom vs SNK2
Street Fighter EX
Street Fighter EX Plus
Street Fighter EX2
Street Fighter EX2 Plus
Street Fighter EX3
Street Fighter III: The New Generation
Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact - Giant Attack
Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike - Fight for the Future(

not to nitpick, but svc chaos isn't really a capcom game, it's a Playmore title.

Yes, but it got permission to include SF story into the game itself. As opposed to the collaborations which are just mash-ups of characters beating up on each other. SVC Chaos actually had the SF storyline tied into the game and is now being made as a comic. (See SVC Chaos - Official Comic)

Well, it's Capcom's fault for making 20 different versions of SF2.

@Grimalkin: How's Ontamarama? Looks pretty good to me (128 MB though)
