After getting a trailer and release date last month, Paramount Pictures’ Sonic the Hedgehog 2 live-action movie has officially entered production. The news comes from a tweet from the director, Jeff Fowler:

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is slated to premiere in theaters on April 8, 2022.
