you mean, by using the category feature?
maybe you can read the guide again if you want to hide only some channels.
it might help you understand or remember how it's working.

https://gbatemp.net/posts/4251265

verify your new added games don't already have some categories set to them, maybe they were part of the hidden ones.
I recommend you create your own category name to hide channels (instead of using existing one like "system title") which might be automatically added to other added games you don't want to hide.

so, all the stuff that i dont want to show was un-checked in the catagory "Dont Show" (creative name right)

i figured Avatar would show up, but it doesnt until i put an check in the "All" catagory, which also causes Forcast channel and all that junk to show up too

so i played around with it and put a X in the "All" category and a X in the "Dont Show" catagory and it seems to work now

so i assume now it shows everything except the titles specifically in the "Dont Show" category

also, can you install GameCube Games in the same way?

yep, you understood how to "hide only the non wanted one, but display all the others" :P

And, for gamecube games : Yes ! same way :)
the loader will also detects dual disc games and put the file in the same sub-folder, with proper name (game.iso and disc2.iso)

by default, you have 2 folders for gamecube :
main folder : usb1:/games/
SD folder : sd:/games/

the "main folder" is where the ISO will be installed to. you can set the main folder to SD (if you want), but can't set the "SD folder" on USB. It's remanent of old loading method (DIOS MIOS / DIOS MIOS Lite)
only use the "main folder" if you don't need 2 different devices.

edit:
The "delete game" option (from inside the loader) is still not updated to work with dual disc games. if you ever want to delete a gamecube game which has 2 discs, you will have to do it manually.
I never completed the gamecube features. it's missing few things (delete dual disc, copy dual disc to SD, copy SD to USB, calculate disc1+disc2 size instead of just disc1)

SWEET got my Wii greased up, and i'm cookin with gas now!

one question. Does USBLoaderGX support USB slot 0?

i see it as an option in the menu, but i cant seem to set it up.

i would like to be able to have my flash drive full of shows and movies AND my HDD connected at the same time

if i cant, though, it's no biggie

or, port 1 i guess. the inner one.

USBLoaderGX supports USB Slot 0 and Slot 1.
the USB Port access is managed by the IOS you are using.

IOS58 : both port are available, in reversed order.
cIOS v10 : both port are available, in incremental order, but not the best compatibility with hardware and games.
Other cIOS : only USB Port 0 available.

on wii, Port 0 is on the bottom (edge of the console)
on WiiU, Port 0 is on the back-top, Port 1 at the back-bottom. (Port 2 and 3 on the front might not work in the loader)

Flash drive are NOOOOOOT compatible. Please, like thousands of users asking why they have issues : don't use Flash drives.
Read all the latest posted thread of this section, you'll see the only reported problems are caused by using flash. everything is fixed once they use HDD.
first thread I open, guess what it says : https://gbatemp.net/threads/usb-loa...w-syscheck-file-included.499761/#post-7895904

oh, i use a flash drive for media in WiiMC (its great for low resolution mp4s)

i think WiiMC has to use port 0, so i was gonna see if port 1 would be fine for my HDD

also, i'm not sure how to check what IOS i am using, but i cant seem to get port 1 to work for my backups though

WiiMC uses IOS58, wich works fine with both USB Ports.
just try plugging it to the working port, it should be detected.

a lot of homebrew (not involving backup loading) uses IOS58.

Backup requires cIOS (patched IOS with added features) and it works only on port0, unless you install AND USE d2x v10-alternative (r53) but it has some compatibility issues.

wow, cool!

i'm getting all this stuff setted up nicely!

i figured out getting my HDD and media stick going at the same time (for some reason i have to unplug my media stick to get Triforce arcade and PAL Gamecube games to play, no idea why)

there is a few things i would like to figure out though

1. is there a way to re-name the game title without messing up anything.
- mainly for stuff that wont line up right (EX. it list Call of duty 2 & 3 before 1, because 1 doesnt actually have a "1" in it)
and be able to get Mega Man 9 to be before Mega Man 10
- and the "The" games, would like to have them listed like
Conduit, The
Godfather: Blackhand Edition, The
Hobbit, The
- also for smaller things like renaming and reordering the Zeldas ex.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Master Quest
i would rather be listed as
LoZ: Ocarina of Time & Master Quest

2. for wads that dont work on emunand, how to install to realnand

3. can you force USBLoaderGX to come up instead of the Wii menu when you power the system (or press home and select Wii Menu) so i dont have to open homebrew, then open USBLoaderGX every time?

4 can i get my homebrew channels to show up with my list of games in USBLoaderGX?

thanks for all the help so far, i enjoy the heck out of my Wii now!! (it's played much more than my Switch)

HAPPY EASTER

---edit---
just realized that the media stick disrupts ALL Gamecube games, probably another setting somewhere to direct the loader to the right USB somewhere. unplugging it to play GC games is not bad though
