VoiceOver, I've heard many people posting the same issue and for that reason I haven't updated nor wiimc or installed the new cios. So what you said is that once you installed the new cios nothing works? Tell me a little more about it.

It's simple after installing the new cios i cant load from USB, it doesnt even see the external drive anymore. If the only advantage is that you cna use both USB slots instead of just the one then i'll stick with the older version.

I've installed Tantric's 202, and USB works just fine with my other apps, only WiiXplorer has problems launching channel and apps, and the FTP (according their google code), but even WiiXplorer see my USB device.

It seems that Tantric's 202 have problems with some devices, I'm not sure, I'm only using a 2GB pendrive stick =P, since I have enough space in my SD, and I launch big sized PSX games through samba.

What I wanna' know is (not sure if it's the updates or my HDD), but the first partition (primary one) is WBFS, and the second half is NTFS. WiiXplorer, and WiiMC can read them just fine, but on the emu's, it says my HDD can't be found. Is that because of the WBFS being primary? Or is it the new update. Just wondering.

The emulators need a primary and active FAT or FAT32 Parition, so it could be that NTFS is the problem.

Hmm, that's a shame. I mean, they have acces to Gamecube Hardware, so it could be possible.
But I don't know much about it, it's just speculation.

I don't know if someone noticed the newest source change of snes9x-gx, fceugx and vbagx:

Log message

remove IOS 202 code

Affected files

Modify /trunk/Makefile.wii
Modify /trunk/source/fileop.cpp
Modify /trunk/source/menu.cpp
Modify /trunk/source/snes9xgx.cpp
Modify /trunk/source/snes9xgx.h
Delete /trunk/source/utils/ehcmodule.elf.o
Delete /trunk/source/utils/ehcmodule_elf.h
Delete /trunk/source/utils/mload.c
Delete /trunk/source/utils/mload.h
Delete /trunk/source/utils/usb2storage.c
Delete /trunk/source/utils/usb2storage.h
The IOS202 support is really completely removed! The emulators don't reload the IOS anymore. I think there will come something like a internal IOS

I want to see how YOU are coding a better emulator. I think it will take a while that you can play those games in fullspeed, it's NOT very easy to create a port of a PC emulator, the wii has only 729? mhz or something like that.

I don't intend to do anything about either of these things. So what?

can any1 update the cover mod to work with usb 2.0?

I already have done a mod for this, i release it on june 24 ...

Snes9x GX 4.1.5 USB2 MOD it work with IOS202 only
that's using an old version i mean take the latest snesx and put cover mod on it. the version you made it doesnt run my games faster from usb. games still go sluggish if you have 2xsal on.
